NOVACAVI has recently developed a customised tether for an innovative modular rover used to inspect confined spaces.
This automated device, which is inserted inside pipes and equipped with sensors to allow a complete analysis of the pipeline’s health status, required a customised solution.
NOVACAVI provided a special cable configuration with fibre-optic and a reinforcing element wrapped in a small-diameter sheath resistant to hydrolysis and UV rays with a matt finish to facilitate the robot’s operation.
