NOVACAVI has recently provided technical and manufacturing support, which has materialised in special flat cable prototypes to be tested on Energy Vault‘s grid-scale energy storage systems.
This innovative system lifts 24-tonne bricks hundreds of metres up into the air, then recovers this potential energy by lowering them when electricity is needed.
Our special flat cables, with a mixed configuration of copper conductors and fibre optic cables, have been designed to solve the specific size, weight and fatigue problems of the complex, innovative, sustainable and cost-effective energy storage system.
