NOVACAVI has recently developed and produced a special cable following technical needs of Danieli Telerobot, the Italian company awarded by Fusion for Energy under contract F4E-1092, to supply ITER with its innovative robotic systems for the inspection of thermal shield manifolds.
This ethernet and power umbilical cable will be used to connect a custom built 50 mm pipeline inspection vehicle to its control cabinet so as to safely inspect the thermal shield manifold pipes.
NOVACAVI has been pleased to offer its expertise to this large international scientific collaboration aimed at demonstrating the feasibility of a fusion power as a clean energy source for the future.
